About

I am a software engineer at Everlaw. Previously, I was a Ph.D. student in the Electrical Engineering department at Stanford University, working in information theory with Mert Pilanci. I left my program with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering in April 2020.

Before arriving at Stanford, I did my undergraduate and M.Eng. degree at MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. While there, I worked with Thomas Heldt on reducing false alarm rates in the intensive care unit. My thesis, Characterization of monitoring alarms in a community hospital intensive care unit, can be found here.

I also worked in the Robot Locomotion Group on Valkyrie, a humanoid robot from NASA, and won Best Research Presentation in the senior research capstone class for my work on it.

You can find my GitHub here. The design of this website was created by Eleanor Hall. Note that my thesis and other prior work are under my previous name.
